TRIPLE NUDE (Triptich) 48x96 in.While the Figure in Motion would seem to be the main thrust of his work, the artist is drawn back to the nude and the perennial puzzle of how to express it in other than representational terms. Flat color and straight lines evolved from simple sketches of the nude. The artist has also expressed the figure in purely geometric shapes. All paintings are on masonite, in acrylics. As flatness is important, board is preferred to the texture of canvas.
